As Senior Vice President of Business Development at Datto, Rob Rae’s role is to oversee various aspects of Datto’s programs including events, marketing development funds, vendor management and partner advisory board, all with the goal of helping our partners grow. With over 25 years experience in B2B markets, Rob has extensive knowledge of IT hardware and software sales: All of Rob’s industry experience has been with 100% channel focused organizations and with channel VARs, solution providers, and managed service providers where he has helped in achieving their sales goals. Rob has been recognized with numerous awards within the channel including being named “CRN Channel Chief” every year since joining Datto. He has also been recognized on many top industry executive, influencer and mid-market executive lists. Rob also sits on a number of industry advisory boards, including CompTIA’s Board of Directors.
